White Sands FCU Scholarship
The 2025 White Sands FCU member scholarship is now open. We are pleased to offer multiple $2,00 scholarships to our student members. This scholarship is open to high school seniors, current college students, and members who want to further their education.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet all the following requirements:
Scholarship applicant (not applicant's parent) must be a White Sands FCU member before applying.
The applicant's account must be in good standing.
Applicant must submit all required attachments with the application.
Applicant's high school or college transcripts must reflect a GPA of 3.0 or better (on a 4.0 scale).
Incomplete applications will not be eligible.
Distribution of Award
The scholarship will be paid directly to the recipient’s school.

Deadline for 2025
The application deadline is February 14, 2025. Finalists selected by the scholarship committee will be contacted via email.

Essay
All applicants must include a typed essay. The essay topic is: The Future of Credit Unions in a Digital World.
Analyze how technology is changing how credit unions operate, including online banking, mobile apps, and digital tools, and discuss how credit unions can adapt to meet the needs of younger generations.
